Seneca Golf Course
Rated the sixth-toughest course in Kentucky and voted “Best of Louisville” for several years running, this hilly course rolls through beautiful Seneca Park, with Beargrass Creek winding its way among the numerous trees and fairways. Seneca has hosted numerous national events. Gary Player, with the most titles of any golfer, won his first American tournament here (1958 Derby City Open). This is one of the most heavily-used courses in the city. Seneca boasts a fantastic chipping green and driving range.
This course has the First Tee – Louisville Seneca Youth Golf Course (a nine hole course for youth to play). We would like to give thanks to the UPS Foundation and Councilman Brent Ackerman for their generous donations to help build the Seneca Youth Golf Course.
